Huns and RomeThe huns Threaten western Rome. Attila holds the huns together, only thing doing so. Rome and the Goths band together and beat Attila and the Huns. This is after the huns invade italy and attila dies.
Vandles and RomeInvade from the north, take over some land.

Army changesThey intagrate Germanic tribes into the army, Then they over throw Western Rome for good in 476 and choose Odacer as their leader
Reasons for declineWeakened army make up of barbarians, merceraneries and urban ppl. Smaller population, oppressive Government: forced labor, tyrents, Decline of farms and cities (early feudilism) Stagnent economy,loss of confidence/tradition ROME BLED TO DEATH
