Auto Format A feature that applies formatting automatically to text.
BorderLine or box applied to selected text (usually a paragraph) or a page in a document.

Numbered listHanging indent in which lines of the text are preceded by sequential numbers or letters.
Optional HyphenHyphen that shows where a word should be divided if the word falls at the end of a line.
PanesSection of a window formed when the window is split. A split window contains two panes.
PointMeasure of a type size; 72 points equals one inch.
Positive indentAn indent that positions text between the left and the right margins.
PropertyAny information, such as the filename, data created, file size, that describes a document.
Sans SerifFont characteristic in which the font has no decorative lines, or serifs, projecting, from its characters, such as Arial.

Section BreakDouble-dotted line that appears onscreen to indicate the beginning and end of a section.

SerifFont characteristics in which the font has decorative lines projecting from its characters, such as Times new Roman.
Split BarHorizontal bar located between two window panes that can be dragged up or down to change the relative size of the two panes.
Split box Small gray rectangle located just above the vertical scroll bar that can be dragged down to split a document into two window panes.
TabSet amount of space between two words, characters, or numbers in a line of text, or between a word, character, or number and the left or right margin.
Tab markersSymbol on the horizontal ruler that indicates a custom tab setting.
