| Alignment | The orientation of the lines of a paragraph with respect to the margins; options include left, right, center, and justified. |
| Border | A paragraph format that displays a line on any side of a block; used to distinguish the block from regular text. Borders are generally applied to an entire paragraph or group of paragraphs. |
