| Finance officer | this committee role deals mainly with the financial aspect of team. Their responsibility is to receive and make payments, and keep the books in order, to ensure no losses are made |
| Researcher | this committee role is involved in the research aspect of the event, by investigating the areas in need of answering, for example availability of the proposed facility. Their responsibility would be to conduct the research, record their findings and feed back to the team. Just because this role exists, this does not mean no other team member can research |
| Event coordinator | this committee role is involved in ensuring the event runs to plan. Their responsibility is to produce an itinerary, ensure all parties are aware of the action points, and put everything in place for the event |
| Publicity officer | this committee role is involved in promoting an event. Their responsibility is to produce any materials needed for promoting and advertising the event, ensuring it is given to the right people, in the right place and the right time |
| Marketing officer | this committee role is involved in the advertising and promotion of the event. Their responsibility is to ensure the right information is given to the right people, in the right place and at the right time |
| Steward | this role is involved in the control of crowds and participants. Their responsibility is to ensure all safe practices are achieved, and all legislation adhered to. Their main aim is to ensure the safety and well being of all individuals, groups and equipment |
| Coach | this role is involved in the development of skills in individuals and groups. Their responsibility is to teach new skills and achieve results through their performance |
