Grasslands (Savanna) | biomes in which the main type of plants are grasses; mild summers and cold winters with moderate rainfall; too dry for trees but very fertile so lots of grasses can grow |
Desert | dry,hot enviroments with very little rainfall; it is very cold at night; water is the limiting resource |
Freshwater Ecosystem | lakes,ponds,swamps,streams,rivers,and estuaries that all have a water with lottle or no salt |
Saltwater Ecosystem | aquatic ecosystems with salty water; split into open-ocean zone,intertidal zone,and coral reefs |
