BitShort for binary digit, represents data using technologies that can be set to one of two states, such as on or off, or changed or not changed.
ByteA group of 8 bits used to represent all types of useful data and information, such as characters, words, or sounds; the standard unit of storage in digital electronics.
BitTorrentA peer-to-peer file-sharing protocol that allows users to share files by downloading pieces of a file from multiple sources.
