B. Match the words to the pictures (P.P Verbs Part 3)

We have learned the simple present tense and the simple past tense of verbs.

For regular verbs, we add "ed" to the end of the verb.

Example: talk - talked. talk - talked.

Now we will learn the [present perfect tense] of the verb. For the [present perfect tense] of a regular verb, we also add "ed" at the end.

Example: talk

talked

For [irregular verbs], we cannot add "ed" to the end of the verb in the [simpe past tense] or the [present perfect tense].

Example:

[Simple present tense] drive, [簡單現在式] drive

[Simple past tense] drove, 簡單過去時 drove

[Present perfect tense] driven, 現在完成時 driven
