Core vocabulary - Adverbs and qualifiers

Particularly for listening practice, here are most of the adverbs and qualifiers you might come across in SQA exams. Some can be translated in lots if different ways, but here we have given the most common meaning. Remember that from Int 2 upwards, qualifiers are often the difference between getting the point or not as there are no half marks, e.g. "il est assez triste" would have to be "he is QUITE sad" to get the mark.

1. Click on the "Play audio" button.

3. Click on the flashcard to reveal the answer.
4. If you were right click on "Remove card", and the number of cards left in your pile goes down.
5. If you were wrong click on "Try again later". This one will keep re-appearing until you get it right.
6. Keep going until you have learnt them all really well!
