Core Vocabulary - Quantities

Particularly for listening practice, here are most of the quantity expressions you might come across in SQA exams. Some can be translated in lots if different ways, but here we have given the most common meaning. Remember that from Int 2 upwards, expressions of quantity are a bit like qualifiers and are often the difference between getting the point or not as there are no half marks, e.g. "la plupart de mes copains habitent tout près" would have to be "MOST OF my friends live close by" to get the mark.
