It Pays to Increase Your Word Power: McKeown Chap. 3
Match the English word with the Latin word from which it derives. E.g. "timid" (fearful) derives from the Latin verb "timeō". The purpose of this exercise is twofold: (a) help you learn your Latin verbs via English derivatives and (b) increase your English vocabulary in the process!
