endkey moves the cursor directly to the end of a line
homekey moves the cursor directly to the beginning of the line
arrowkey moves the cursor on the screen up, down, left, and right
altkey used in combination with other keys to create special characters
controlkey used in combination to do special functions, such as undo, copy, cut, etc.
insertkey toggles between the insert and overstrike mode
tabmoves the cursor a 1/2 inch; used to indent a paragraph
caps lockkey locks the alphabetic key in upper case so you key all capital letters
backspaceremoves text directly to the left of the cursor position
page upmoves the page up one screen at a time from the current display
page downmoves the page down one screen at a time from the current display
spacebarmoves the cursor ahead one space at a time
num lockkey allows you to use the numeric keypad
deletekey removes text directly to the right of the cursor position
scrollingbar on the right side of window that allows you to roll the document down so you can see the bottom part of a long documnet
