| Nervous System | This system is the control center for your body. It sends electrical signals through your body which control movement and behavior. |
| Muscular System | This system helps you move. |
| Circulatory System | This system transports nutrients, gases, (like carbon dioxide and oxygen), and waste through the body with a pump and through a series of tubes. |
| Respiratory System | This system helps the body exhale carbon dioxide and inhale oxygen. |
| Digestive System | This system breaks down food and absorbs nutrients. |
| Excretory System | This system filters waste and toxins from the body. |
| Skeletal System | This system supports and protects your body and your organs. |
| Cells | These are the basic unit of life. |
| Plants and Animals | Have different kinds of cells although some of their parts are similar. |
| Skin | This is the largest organ in your body. |
| Mouth | Digestion starts here. |
| Stomach | The place where food is stored until it can be broken down further for travel into the small intestine. |
| Circulatory System | This system transports oxygen, nutrients, and wastes through the body and is made up of the heart, blood vessels, and the blood. |
| Blood | This is the liquid that the heart pumps through the body. Sometimes it appears red and sometimes blue depending on how much oxygen is in it. |
| The Blood Mobile | This was a catchy tune we used to help us learn about what our circulatory system does in our bodies. |
| Microscopic | Things that are so small that you cannot see them with the naked eye. |
| Cells | These are so small that you cannot see them without the aide of a microscope. |
| Spinal Cord | The part of the body that runs from your brain to your tail bone. It is responsible for transfering information to different parts of your body. |
| Skull | This is the part of your skeletal system that protects your brain. |
| Skeletal Muscles | These are muscles that we can move voluntarily. |
| Involuntary Movements | Acts like breathing, the heart beating, and digesting food. |
| Voluntary Movements | Acts like blinking, sitting, bending, or swallowing. |
| Respiraatory System | The lungs are the main organ in this system. |
| Circulatory System | The heart is the main organ in this system. |
| Tiny Hairs | These are in the nose and are for filtering the air we breath. |
| Nervous System | The brain is the main organ in this system. |
| Excretory System | Without this system we would die from accumulating poisons. |
