| "Ten confianza," le dijeron las personas | "Be of good cheer," the people |

| ¡Bartimeo quería ver! | Bartimaeus wanted to see! |
| Quería ver los árboles y los | To see the trees and the |
| pájaros, y toda la hermosura de | birds and all the beauty of |
| la creación de Dios. | God's creation. |
| Quería ver para cuidarse a sí | He wanted to see so he could car for |
| mismo y no ser un mendigo. | himself and not be a beggar. |
| Entonces Jesús le dijo a Barimeo, | Then Jesus said to Bartimaeus: |
| "Recibe tu vista. | "Receive your sight. |
| Tu fe te ha salvado." | Your faith has saved you." |
| Inmediatamente recibió la vista, y siguió | At once he received his sight, and he followed |
| a Jesús. | Jesus. |
| Lo único que podía decir era, | All he could say was |
| "¡Dios es maravilloso! | "God is wonderful! |
| ¡Me sanó!" | He healed me!" |
| Fue un momento maravilloso para Bartimeo. | It was a wonderful moment for Bartimaeus. |
| Toda la gente, cuando lo vio, | All the people, when they saw it, |
| dio alabanza a Dios. | gave praise to God. |
