| Large Intestine | (Terminal End) last 5 ft. of the digestive tract. Absorption of most water and vitamine K and breaks down, with the help of bacteria, fiber and other tough materials. |
| Rectum | 4 in. long tube at the end of the digestive tract. Store the the compacted feces before it is expelled out of the anus. |
| Lymphatic Vessels | Absorbs and transports fatty acids from the small intestine to the bloodstream. |
| Capillaries | Absorbs sugars, amino acids (proteins), and water from both intestines and then transports it to the bloodstream. |
| Appendix | A small appendage the attaches to the beginning of the cecum. It helps capture and store bacteria found in the chyme. |
| Liver | Produces bile that is used to break down fats in the digestive system, detoxifies the blood and stores vitamins. |
