1896 | Founding Fathers Werner, Fisher, and Levy travel to Columbia, N.Y.U., and C.C.N.Y. to spread the mission that all men are created free and equal. |

1901 | Founding Father Louis S. Levy graduates from Columbia Law |
1906 | Attempt to revive chapter at Columbia proves futile. |
1908 | Pi Lamda Phi revitalization begins at Columbia |
1909 | Founding Father Werner passes into the Chapter Eternal. First N.I.C. meeting in New York City. |
1910 | Beta Sigma Rho established at Cornell University |
1912 | Phi Beta Delta formed at Columbia University. |
1913 | With installations at the University of Michigan and University of Pittsburgh, the Pilam chapter roll climbs to six. |
1914 | Gamma at N.Y.U. organized the Gamma Orchestra. |
1915 | First issue of The Frater, the original Fraternity magazine, published. |
1916 | Birth of the National Council. |
1917 | Of the 360 member of Pi Lambda Phi, 222 were from New York, 68 from Pennsylvania and 30 from New Jersey. The remaining undergraduates and alumni were from fourteen other states and two foreign countries. |
1918 | Isadore Halprin receives Council Key. |
1920 | Pi Lambda Phi becomes an Internaitonal Fraternity as our chapter at McGill, CN Eta, gets chartered in Montreal. |
1921 | Supreme Rex declares that all "official letters" must have an appropriate response within four business days or a fine of $2 will be levied. |
1922 | Founding Father Levy becomes senior partner of Stanchfield and Levy, a law firm which establishes an international reputation. |
1923 | NJ Theta, after learning during an intramural basketball tournament that each fraternity at Steven's Institute has their own cheer, writes to The Frater recommending that Pilam adopt a cheer such as, "Eat 'em up, eat 'em up, Pi, Pi,Pi" or "Look at those raging Lambs." |
1924 | The Pi Lambda Phi Endowment Fund is established. |
1925 | The 400th meeting of the Gamma Chapter at N.Y.U. turns into an argument about who's wearing who's socks and who's dating who's girl. |
1926 | Dean Stone of West Virginia University asks: "What is the attitude of your national fraternity toward drinking on the part of members of one of your chapters?" The Supreme Rex of Pi Lambda Phi responded: "No member shall carry with him or drink intoxicating liquors at any Fraternity function." |
1927 | Brother Saul Weislow, th third Weislow in the Omicron Chapter at the University of Chicago, is named captain of the University of Chicago ootball team as a sophomore- the first sophomore in school history to be so honored. |
1928 | Oscar Hammerstein, NY Alpha, has a record five shows on Broadway at the same time. |
1929 | CA Tau recognized as having the highest grade point average of any chapter of any fraternity. |
1930 | Out of fourteen colleges that fraternities are ranked scholastically, Pi Lambda Phi stands first in eight and second in five more. |
