What is a mixture?Two or more substances mixed to gether. An example is a salad or mixed nuts.
What is a solution?A mixture formed when one or more substances disolve in another. An example is salt water.
What is a saturated solution?It is when the liquid cannot disolve all of the solid material.
If you have a saturated solution, how can you make more of the solid dissolve?Add more water to the solution.

What is an atom?The smallest part of an element.
What is a molecule?Particules made of two or more atoms that are held together by bonds and created by a chemical reation.

What is a compound?A substance made of two or more different kinds of atoms. An example is H2O.

What are some characteristics of metals?They are shiny, able to bend, able to stretch without breaking and they conduct heat and energy.
What is an alloy?A mixture of two or more metals. Bronza and brass are examples.
