| Before anything else existed, God was there. He is holy-perfect and pure. He's the Creator of everything. | What is Genesis 1:1 |
| Every person ever born was made in God's image. That means we reflect God. We have many of the same attributes God has, like the ability to love. Because of this, every person is important. God made us so we could know Him. | What is Genesis 1:27 |
| We are born sinners. God has the best in mind for us, but we don't want to follow His guidelines. We do what WE want to do instead, and that is sin. We all sin. God detests sin. Our punishment will be to spend eternity separated from God in hell-IF we haven't accepted God's solution to our problem. | What is Romans 6:23 |
| God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus to save us from our sin. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life-He cannot sin. He willingly died on a cross to take our punishment for sin. On the third day-after Jesus had died and was buried- He rose from the dead! Jesus conquered death and paid the price for sin. | What is Romans 5:8 |
| If we trust that Jesus paid for our sin on the cross, and rose again, we will receive God's gift of salvation. We will be saved. And that means we'll spend forever in Heaven with God | What is Acts 16;31 |
