| Embedded Chart | a chart drawn on the same worksheet as the data. |
| Point Mode | Allows you to select cells for use in a formula by using the mouse. |
| Function | A prewritten formula that takes a value or values, performs an operation, and returns a result to the cell. |
| Fixed Dollar Sign | In accounting style; is displayed at the far left of a cell, often with spaces between it and the first digit. |
| Floating Dollar Sign | In Currency style; this appears immediately to the left of the first digit with no spaces. |
