| Ink | Liquid used in ink jet printers that is sprayed onto paper. |
| Software icons | Images on the computer screen that represent programs. |
| Spray mount | A way to adhere artwork to mat board. Best used in open space. |
| Bleed | Ink goes off of paper. |
| Pre-flighting | Double-checking files to be sure all is okay before printing. |
| Halftone | A photo that is printed in a newspaper, book or magazine. |
