| Edition | All the copies of a book, newspaper, or other printed item that are alike and that are issued at or near the same time, May things that are printed, such as books, may have several to many edition. | Keyword | A word, such as a head word or entry word, that serves as a guide to find other ideas, articles, or topics |
| Media | Anything used to transmit such things as images, sounds, or ideas-newspapers, magazines, films, and pod casts are all media |
| Microfiche | A plastic card or sheet, usually about 4 by 6 inches, containing a strip of microfilm which has been cut into short pieces. A single microfiche may contain micro images of over 100 pages of a standard-size book |
| Microfilm | A fine-grained film for making very small photographs of pages of a book, newspapers, records, and other printed matter, to preserve them in a very small space |
