| Aperture | Can be set larger + smaller to control amount of light that enters camera. Determines Depth of Field or how much of your image will be in focus.Located inside the lens. |
| Mirror | Bends light entering the camera up into the Prism. Flips up and out of the way when shutter release button is pressed. |
| Shutter | Square inside back of camera. Opens and closes like window blinds to let light in. Speed determines amount of light that can enter + sharpness of image (if moving) |
