In this activity you will look at how to use a Web browser to go to different Web sites and navigate a Web page.

Microsoft Internet ExplorerA very popular Web browser.
Control IconDisplays the Control Menu to manipulate the size or location of the window.
Minimize ButtonReduces the window to a button on the taskbar while it runs in the background.
Maximize ButtonMakes the window the full size of the screen.
Restore Down ButtonChanges the window back to the original size before it was maximized.
Close ButtonExits or closes the application window.
Title BarIndicates the name of the program and the contents of the window.
ToolbarProvides quick access to frequently used menu choices using the mouse.

Web Home PageThe first Web page that appears when you start the Web browser.
Scroll BarScrolls through a page when using the mouse to navigate in the Web page.
AddressShows the Web site currently being viewed or enter an address to go to a new site.
GoClick this button after entering the Web site address to go to that site.
LinksA shortcut menu to move quickly to those Web sites in the Favorites, Links submenu.

(Forward) IconMove ahead one page at a time.
(Refresh) IconRefresh or reload the Web page again if it seems slow to display or has stopped displaying.
