AB
Tip #1HIT ALL THE TASK DOTS!!! ALL OF THEM! (In each body paragraph). If you address all of them in a limited way, we have to award you no less than a 3.
How many paragraphs? No LESS than 4 paragraphs: INTRO, 2 Bodies, CONCLUSION
How do I write an "ok" Intro?NO LESS than 3 sentences! Remember: THEME, TASK, THESIS ... in that order!!!(Explain the theme in your own words, the task in your own words, and create a thesis that answers the task question in short.) Use the language given in the question, but reword it and make it look like your own!! (You like copying other people's work, remember you're good at this)
Body Paragraph BasicsTopic Sentence first! (Now let's first take a look at the historical circumstances surrounding....). The MEAT of your paragraph: remember- answer the Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? questions in your head, to get sentences!! Hit all the dots!!! Then- Closing sentence!
Tip #2THEME, TASK, THESIS, should be the basis of your Introduction
Tip #3Work in some vocab into each body paragraph that's not listed in the task, but has to do with the topic!
Tip #4Plan your essay out, but that doesn't mean write your essay twice! Create an outline so you know where you're going!
Tip #5Your body paragraphs should be in chronological order... don't talk about the Louisiana Purchase after the acquisition of Alaska... it just flows better!
Tip #6In your closing, your last sentence should be a lasting impact statement. Answer " How would our history be different had ***topics*** never happened? Remember if all else fails use the "WITHOUT sentence". "WITHOUT the dropping of the Atomic Bomb, WWII may have never ended... etc. etc.
