ClickTo press the top end of the mouse (PC left button) down and quickly let go.
Double ClickTo press and release the mouse button twice quickly. This is a shortcut to open most programs and files.
Left ClickPC ONLY. This refers to pressing and releasing the left button on the PC mouse. This usually has the same effect as clicking the only button on a Mac mouse.
Right ClickPC ONLY. This refers to pressing and releasing the right button on the PC mouse. This usually has the same effect as pressing and holding down the button on the Mac mouse.
EditMaking changes to your document, file or creation.
Edit MenuThis is one choice on the menu bar that offers many ways to change something.
Edit ToolThis is a choice on the Edit Menu that we use to change our document.
SaveThis tool stores your work so that it can be retrieved if the computer crashes.
PrintThis button or menu command lets you make a paper copy of your document.
SelectTo click and drag the mouse over a letter, word, sentence or paragraph so it can be edited, moved, deleted, copied, etc. When you do this, it makes an outline around the choice.
CopyThis is something that duplicates a word or a phase.
PasteThis places something cut or copied back into your document.
DeleteTo erase or get rid of something selected.
DragTo select something (click) and hold the mouse button down while you moving it.
DropTo let go of something that was being dragged.
UndoIf you do something you did not want to do , you can remove it.
