Erectile Dysfunction (ED)The inability to achieve or maintain a penile erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual performance.
Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA)Method of surgical sperm retrieval involving placing a needle attached to a syringe through the skin of the scrotum and simply sucking out the fluid inside the testicle
Peyronie's Disease (PD)The development of fibrous scar tissue inside the penis that causes curved, painful erections.
Coronary Vascular Disease (CVD)All heart and circulatory diseases, including coronary heart disease, angina, heart attack, congenital heart disease, hypertension, stroke and vascular dementia. It's also known as heart and circulatory disease.
Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)Impedance or blockage of one or more arteries that supply blood to the heart, usually due to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).
FNA MappingAn application of fine-needle aspiration (FNA) to the testis for the diagnosis of male infertility.
Sperm MappingAnother name for FNA Mapping (an application of fine-needle aspiration (FNA) to the testis for the diagnosis of male infertility).
Testicular MappingAnother name for FNA Mapping (an application of fine-needle aspiration (FNA) to the testis for the diagnosis of male infertility).
Non-Obstructive Azoospermia (NOA)No sperm in the ejaculate due to failure of spermatogenesis and is the most severe form of male infertility.
AzoospermiaAbsence of motile (and hence viable) sperm in the semen.
Obstructive Azoospermia (OA)The absence of spermatozoa in the ejaculate despite normal spermatogenesis.
Duplex US with InjectionA procedure which assesses the degree of erection, if artieries are healthy & how much blood is flowing into the penis. Also asseses the degree of venous outflow from the penis & the function of erection nerves.
Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD)Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs. When you develop PAD, your extremities — usually your legs — don't receive enough blood flow to keep up with demand.
Xiaflex InjectionsA series of injections done for the purpose of administering a non-surgical treatment of Peyronie's Disease.
Testopel TreatmentAn FDA-approved testosterone pellet available to help restore testosterone levels in men with Low T.
Low TLow testosterone levels which is diagnosed when testosterone levels fall below 300 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL).
HypogonadismA condition in which decreased production of gonadal hormones leads to below-normal function of the gonads and to retardation of sexual growth and development in children.
CystoscopyA procedure that allows a doctor to examine the lining of a patient's bladder and the tube that carries urine out of the body (urethra).
CryopreservationThe process of cooling and storing cells, tissues, or organs at very low temperatures to maintain their viability.
Single Photon Emission Computer Tomography (SPECT)A scan, primarily used to diagnose and track the progression of heart disease, which uses radioactive tracers to provide a 3D (tomographic) image.
