edit box | the figure which appears when your adding text to a slide; it has white squares that surround it for editing purposes |
effects | the formatting features that move the text on and off of the single slides |
outline view | view displays the text of the slide with no other features |
slide view | view displays a single slide and allows the user to insert clip, chang the backgrounds, edit transitions, effects, and add animations. |
blank presentation | feature that lets you create a show ffrom scratch, using whatever layout, format, colors, and styles you prefer |
design template | a predesigned model that you can apply to one or all of the background slides in a presentation |
hyperlink | a shortcut that allows you to go from the presentation to another program, to a document, to a specific slide of to a website |
clip art | refers to any picture of art image that you add to enhance your presentation. This can be done by pulling down the insert menu, selecting "inser picture" then "Clip Art: and then selectiong the picture you would like to add to your presentation. |
summary slide | creates a bulleted list from the titles of the selected slides. Your can make one by pulling down the Edit menu, pressing "Select All: and clicking on the Summary Slide Button on the Slide Sorter Toolbar. |
