nomadic,  | Moving from place to place in search of food, water, etc. |
obsidian,  | a dark natural glass that forms from cooled lava |
Paleolithic,  | Early part of the Stone Age, primitive stone tools used |
tribal,  | A group of families/relatives who have the same language, customs and beliefs |
turning point,  | When an important change occurs |
hunters/gatherers,  | Nomadic tribes that lived by hunting and fishing. |
prehistory,  | The time before written records. |
historian,  | A person who studies history |
primary source,  | a first hand account of a person, event or object |
secondary source,  | Written AFTER the event takes place. |
