Write out the bill.A congress member must write out the bill
Introduce the bill.a congress member must introduce the bill
Debate in the HouseIf the bill starts in the House they discuss and argue about it.
Voting in the HouseAfter debate in the House the bill is voted on
Debate in the SenateThe Senate talks/argues about the bill.
Sent to the PresidentThe President gets the bill after it has passed both Houses. He can sign or veto the bill.
If vetoed by the PresidentIt is sent back to Congress for an override or to start the process all over again.
