Hanging Indent markerA moveable icon on the horizontal ruler that looks like the bottom half of an hour glass and that can be dragged left or right to change the indent for all of a paragraph except the first line.
Left Indent markerA square, moveable icon on the horizontal ruler that can be dragged left or right to indent an entire paragraph from the left side of the document.
Navigation paneA window in Word used to search a document for specific items, with the results highlighted in yellow in the document.
numbered listA group of paragraphs in which each paragraph is preceded by a number, with the paragraphs numbered consecutively.
Office Clipboardtemporary storage area on a computer that holds copied text, graphics, or other objects until you need them.
pastingPlacing a copy of the contents of the Clipboard into the document at the insertion point.
