| Line Art | An illustrated image (sometime could be as simple as a line) drawn by hand or using computer software that is solid containing only 100% of a color. |
| Continuous Tone Copy | An image with an infinite number of tone gradations between the lightest highlights and the darkest shadows. |
| Editing | The final preparation of the author’s or writer’s manuscript for publication, including checking the text, line art, and photographs |
