Plains | A large expanse of fairly flat dry land, usually with few trees. |
Prairies | A treeless grass-covered plain in the United States and Canada, especially in the Midwest and the West. |
Adobe | Brick made from earth and straw dried by the sun. |
Villages | A group of houses and other buildings in a rural area, smaller than a town. |
