Volcano, An opening in the earth's surface through which steam, ashes, and lava are forced out.
Beach, sandy, pebbly or rocky shore of a body of water
Tundra, vast treeless plains with permafrost and small, low plants
Channel, deeper part of a river or harbor OR a body of water that connects 2 larger bodies of water
Fjord, long, steep-sided glacial valley now filled by seawater
Iceberg, large chunks of ice that break off glaciers
Marsh, an area of low-lying, wet land
Plateau, flat land mass higher than the surrounding land, with at least one steep side
Butte, hill that rises abruptly from surrounding area with sloping sides and a flat top
Cliff, high, steep or overhanging rock face
Forest, dense growth of trees and other plants covering a large area
Mesa, flat-topped elevated landform, bigger than a butte
Prairie, an inland grassland area
Volcano, mountains formed when lava rises through the earth's crust
Canal, an artificial waterway used for irrigation or travel
Continent, one of the seven large landmasses on earth
Geyser, natural hot spring that emits a column of water and steam into the air
Isthmus, narrow piece of land that connects two large landmasses and separates two bodies of water
Waterfall, steep descent of water from a height
