| Keyboard | Hardware device. Used for input. |
| Motherboard | The backbone of the computer. Holds the CPU and all the other circuitry. |
| Memory | Chips that store information. There are two types of memory, RAM and ROM. |
| RAM | Short-term memory. |
| ROM | Long-term memory. |
