custom embossed coverThe artwork is made into a brass die. Using heat the die is stamped onto the cover which creates a 3 diminsional relief on the cover's surface
cutlineShort description or explanation adjacent to an illustration or photograph, other than a title or heading
cyanTranlucent blue ink, that is used as a process color
descenderLetter stroke that falls below the baseline such as "g", "y", "p", etc
die cutProcess whereby a design is literally cut into a cover or endsheet using a metal pattern (die)
