natural spread | The middle 2 pages of a printer's signature, which are the nly 2 consecutive pages printed side by side (usually pages 8 and 9) |
overburn | Process of superimposing dark printing over areas already printed (caption printed on light portion of photo) |

overlay | Transparent paper covering a layout or photo with instructions for overburning |
