What does each cell contain?Each cell contains a type of data: text, number data, and/or formulas.
In what direction do COLUMNS go?Columns go vertically-up and down. Also they are defined by the letters which go across the top of the grid.
In what direction do ROWS go?Rows go horizontally-left to right. Also they are defined by numbers which go down the left side of the grid.
Do the column and the row intersect at a cell?Yes.
How is the cell named?The cell is named according to its column letter and row number. It's where the information in stored.
What is a label?A label is anything that is just text.
What is a constant?A constant is any number. They are used to enter FIXED number data.
What is a formula?Formulas are equations that performs calculations.
What is the * symbol used for?Multiplication
What is the / symbol used for?Divison
What do all formulas have to begin with?an equals sign. (=)
