| Decrescendo | To gradually decrease the volume |
| Ritardando | To slow down |
| Accelerando | To speed up |
| Largo | Very slow |
| Moderato | Medium speed |
| Allegro | Fast |
| Presto | Very Fast |
| Accent | Emphasising a note or beat more, making it louder |
