Pathways Goal Setting Vocabulary

Thinking about our dream job can be exciting. It is nice to daydream about what we will do and how life will be when we get ourselves there.

It can also be scary. Can I do this? Am I smart enough? Too old? Is it too late for me? Do I have the time? What if I fail?

One of the most important things that you can do when working toward your goals is to break them down into smaller pieces. It is like the old saying, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time."

Once you see your goal as a series of small steps, it becomes a lot less scary and a whole lot more manageable.

Let's break down some Goal Setting Terms as we get ready to talk about your career goals and break them down into manageable steps.
