NOTICE: THIS STUDENT PAGE IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING MOVED TO ANOTHER WEBSITE! My hope is to have the new site up and running by our January return, but I make no promises as I have to learn the new site, how to format it and update it weekly, as well as how to transfer all of my files from this site. Again, I will do my best, but until the new site is functional, please refer to your peers, the class boards, and finally me if you are absent and need information! Thanks for your patience and understanding!!
Welcome to English 10! On this page you will find all of the information you need to keep up with the classwork should you be absent, links to printable assignments, and a link to send me an email.

Remember: I may not give you "homework" every night, but there is ALWAYS something that you should be working on at home for this class!! Book report reading, writing workshops, projects, CAHSEE prep, etc.
Issues: I want to take some space to clarify some things from the syllabus: It is the BHS English Department policy that make up work will be graded but will receive a zero until the absence has been cleared through attendance. Please make certain that if your student is absent, that the absence is cleared quickly so grades do not suffer as a result.
Great news!!!!! Students no longer have to use that tired old excuse that they can't do homework or study because they left their book at school!!!! Introducing......TEXTBOOKS ONLINE!!! ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!! You can access the textbook here: http://my.hrw.com ID: tbennecke Password:r9r3k
We will be reading at least one book this year:
Of Mice and Men is a classic novella that depicts the hardships and friendships of the early twentieth century

Please note: This page contains only the basic information of what we did in class. Please do not assume that the things listed here are the only things you missed. ALWAYS ask someone what happened in class so you can keep up!! Our classroom activities and reading assignments vary widely to keep all of us from getting bored to tears. Unfortunately for ya'll, I am not the best at updating this website, as LIFE tends to happen. However, I will do my best to keep the bare bones on the site. If you are out and the site hasn't been updated, shoot me an email (PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND PERIOD NUMBER!! KoolKat96@email.com doesn't tell me who you are!) for what you have missed
