The end of school is rapidly approaching:
The welding program this year has been very successful. Six students have passed their AWS SENSE written and practical weld test for national certification. Several weld III student are working in internships at several industries. We are very fortunate that local industries are in the need of welders and job placement is very high. The national shortage of certified welders is at a record high. The nation at this time is in need for 800,000 certified welders, a great time to be a welder.
We are starting our process of selecting students for next years welding class,if you have signed up you will be reviewed for the fourteen openings. Have a great summer and I look forward to meeting our students in August.
