COURSE DESCRIPTION: Welding I & II - Prerequisite: Welding I for Welding II. Grade levels 11 & 12 (suggested). Instruction is given in Arc, Mig, Tig, and Oxyacetylene welding as well as blueprint reading and material estimation. This program is an American Welding Society Certification class and offers credit towards a degree at Northeast Technical College. ____________________________________________________________
CLASS EXPECTATIONS 1.Students are expected to observe rules of safety at all times. 2. Students are expected to learn the proper welding procedures. 3. Students are expected to follow school rules and my class rules at all times. 4. Students are expected to learn that "it is my way or the highway!"

ASSIGNMENTS Studens will participate in the SENSE Training Program and earn Certifications from the American Welding Society (AWS)
