Welcome to eighth grade English class. English is an important subject to elevate your written and spoken language. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening are all focus areas of concentration. The curriculum is literature based and it is utilized as a pivotal point to improve writing, speaking, and listening.
We just finished the novella, Flowers for Algernon. We have just started a grammar unit on verbals which include gerunds, participles, and infinitives. I will link my verbal powerpoint below so that students can review in the event that we have snow on Monday.
