Birds of a Feather

Many of those  who oppose an Article V Convention believe that the states should nothave the power to amendment the Constituion without Congressional permission.

James Madison believed in checks and balances and that if Congress failed to propose the amendments  that the states wanted should be able call for a convention to amend the Constitution.

The states created what they wanted to be a more perfect union and they felt it was necessary for them to be able to propose and ratify amendments that they believed were necessary.

Congress will never propose Amendments that would  transfer any of their power to the states.. The states represnt the people while Congress represents the financial elite.

Congress has discivered that they can change the Constitution without going through the amendment process. All they need to do is declare thaa the changes are necessary and proper.

Why would two thirds if the members of the House and Senate vote to establish term limits?

Why would Congress propose an amendment that would make campaign contribtions from Corporations unconstitutional?and/

All amendments proposed by Congress Amendments are aimed to reducing the sovereignty of the states and the people.

Like a flcok of buzzards the  members of the House aand Senate stick together like birds of a feather.

The 13 states created the Constitution and delegated a short list of powers to the national government government and retained all other powers to themselves.

If two thirds of the states wish to propose an amnedment to the Constitution and three fourths of the states agree on its ratification, it,should become law.

Each of the three branches of government has their own way of dishonoring the Constitution. Congress ignores it, the President defies it and the Supreme Court changes the meaning of the Constitution every time they interpret it.

By supporting one another this  unholy triple alliance, has become an enemy of the pople they were created to protect.
