CLASS DOCUMENTS
CLASS EXPECTATIONS
- ~ Weekly reading assignments
- ~ 1 hour per week of online classroom participation
- ~ 2 short papers (3 pages)
- - Students may choose topics from a list provided by the instructor, or may suggest their own.
- - All topics must be approved by the instructor.
- - Papers must cover topics from 2 different periods of Greek History (Bronze Age, Archaic, Classical, or Hellenistic)
- ~ Semester project
- - Each student will prepare a 10 minute presentation to be given to their peers at an Open House at the end of the Semester. Additional details will follow, but each student should begin looking for a favorite topic on which they would like to give a short presentation.
- ~ Regular quizzes & exams
- - One mid-term (administered online)
- - One final exam (administered online)
- - Additional quizzes as announced in class, or scheduled on the class syllabus
