Business Barracks
Lovinggood Middle School

While at the Business Barracks of Lovinggood Middle School (LMS), I will provide recruits with project-based instruction that introduces recruits to the principles of business in the 21st century while refreshing their keyboarding skills. The curriculum will help recruits to use computers effectively in their life, while providing a connection of computer science and business concepts. This year I look forward to .
In order to accomplish my objective, recruits will undergo three different levels of training (basic, intermediate and advance). Training will come in different forms; discussions, online activities, demonstrations, projects, assignments and collaborative groups. I expect each recruit to give 110% during their nine week training course because "their output is determined by their input."

In addition, there are expectations to meet, rules and procedures to follow. To ensure that you get the most out of your experience your compliance and understanding is needed.

  • You will receive a workstation and you should take good care of it and report any unusual sightings. In addition, do not exchange workstations with anyone unless instructed by me.
  • I want you to participate and complete all your trainings; therefore, you will need to have your agenda and something to write with everyday.
  • To ensure your safety and that of all recruits, no bookbags are allowed in the barracks. All bookbags must remain in a locker.

  • Promptness is very important, therefore, you will need to report to training every day eager to learn, on time and prepared.
  • I would like to keep the barracks in the best condition, so respect the property of the barracks.
  • We all come from different backgrounds and experiences, but you must respect all recruits and their property.
  • There are specific times for eating lunch; therefore, no food, gum or candy is allowed in the barracks.
  • The rules of the Business Barracks ensures that everything operates smooth and safe, therefore you must follow all rules set by me and the organization (Lovinggood Middle School).

  • You will receive four passes throughout the nine week training period. In order to leave the barracks you must present your Passport to me or other personnel.
  • If for some reason you're absent, please see me or view the class blog for any work you missed.
