Remember, if you are here everyday and work hard to get your assignments done on time, you will benefit in getting a good grade. More important than the grade is the knowledge you will aquire. "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER"
Keyboarding in a life skill. Knowing how to keyboard properly is very important when trying to build speed. Being able to type something quickly is important, so you can finish your paper for English faster and have more time for other activities, such as hanging out with your friends.
Many times I have forgotten to save what I am working on and the power has gone out or the computer program has unexpectedly shut down or frozen. Yes, I have had to type the whole thing over. It is SOOOO frustrating, but in no time I had it typed again. Thank goodness my keyboarding teacher in high school instilled in me the importance of "doing it right" and not letting me hunt and peck my way through class.
Please allow me to teach you correctly and trust that I know what is best for you:) It is important that you leave my class being the very best you can be and not second rate, so we practice a lot and build the skill.
