CHAPTER 43
Specifications are given for the burnt offerings. Ezekiel has been a witness to God departing from the temple. Now he is a witness to God returning to the temple.

The prophet recognizes the sound of God's glory cloud. It sounds like the roar of rushing waters. God reassures Ezekiel that He will someday permanently dwell with Israel.

CHAPTER 44
The trustees of the temple are named including the prince, the priests, and the Levites. The Levitical family of Zadok is no longer able to serve as priests because they encouraged people to worship foreign gods.

CHAPTERS 45-46
The way the offerings should be handled is outlined in these chapters. For instance, on the first day of each new year, they are to sacrifice a young bull to purify the temple.
