SECOND SEMESTER SENIORS - Now is not the time to be slacking. Colleges expect seniors to continue to take challenging courses and to keep up their grades. Colleges can and do rescind college acceptance if a student does not continue to show academic success during second semester. We are required to send your final transcript to the college you will attend. I have letters in my files from distraught students and their parents who did not believe colleges would actually care about second semester grades. THEY DO!. Please do not give me another letter to add to my file.

Secondly, please stop by and let me know when you have heard back from your college regarding acceptance, denial, deferral, or wait list. it is important for us to track this information so we can help future students who will be making college decisions.

Later this spring we will be asking for a list of all scholarships you have received. This information will be listed in the graduation booklet and it is important for you to report it accurately.
