Store New Hire Form
The Store New Hire Form has been updated to include a line for email address. In an effort to reduce paper usage as well as the costs of printing and postage, the HR team is trying to collect more email addresses so we can began to communicate with associates via email. The updated form will be in all New Hire Packets ordered after today.
Register Training
In our continued effort to make the new Register Training Certification both fair and easy to execute, we will require associates to score 90% on each area of the certification (instead of 90% total). This will better help us with how to administer follow up training.
Less than 90% on Written Register Quiz = Take written quiz again online within 5 days of training.
Less than 90% on Produce Quiz = Take produce quiz again online within 5 days of training.
Less than 90% on Final Cart Test = Attend Day 3 of training again and be cart tested.
Updated Stop Lift Video (the one used at the meeting):
Loss Prevention has provided a copy of the StopLift video footage that was shown at the Store Manager Meeting. Visit my Dropbox to save this video to your computer.
Open Issues from our Meeting
Training Transcripts in the OPS Planner: According to Paul Lossing, this function is not currently in the OPS Planner. They were going to try it in a previous year's version, but encountered some issues and had decided against it.
Required fields highlighted on the status report: You should see this function in the P11 Status Reports when they post.
Can we require a key for using the motor keys or 12345/12346?: IS Department says they don't see why not. But I need to make a formal request through Operations (Rosie). If Rosie believes it is a problem worth locking down the register for, we should get a green light. Stay tuned...
Updated Stop Lift Video (the one used at the meeting): Requested the footage that was shown at the meeting from Loss Prevention. Hope to have copies within the next 2 weeks.
Training Info Sheet
The Training Info Sheet has been updated to include Claudia's info.
New Hire Packets
Just a heads up that the Form I9 has been removed from the New Hire Packets. All orders placed after last Friday will not have this form as part of the packet.
3rd Quarter Quizzes
Sunday is the end of the 3rd Quarter. Both the produce quiz and the safety quiz will close on Sunday.
