Der oder Den?

You've learned that sometimes the word "der" can change to "den". Try this activity to see if you understand the concept. Der will change to DEN when it is the DIRECT OBJECT - usually AFTER any verb (but not the verb "ist")! If there is an "ist" in your sentence, der will not change to den!
